That's right - Yuma landmark Julieanna's Patio Cafe' is moving the scene indoors every Friday evening through the summer. And this is no ordinary indoors we're talking about! It’s Julieanna's sophisticated yet casual, refined yet boldly appointed indoors, complete with award winning cuisine, service, and yes - nuanced, understated, intimate live jazz. Does life get better?!?

The highly regarded Yuma Jazz Company Trio will alternate Friday evenings with popular duo Jason & Elle. Both groups fit the friendly, refined atmosphere well: the Trio provides a cool backdrop with familiar standards and romantic ballads. Jason and Elle have an inviting approach to contemporary as well as historic tunes. Always present, of course, is the award-winning restaurant's fresh tastes to savor and famous warm, friendly service. Combining soul, r & b, Latin, and jazz into one warm, inviting "sound cocktail", this talented local duo impresses with their instrumental and vocal finesse as well as there expansive personal charm. Yuma Jazz Company Trio

YJC Trio has an intimate, evocative sound all its own. No frills here, just the essentials of sound, emotion, ballad, and groove. The group plays favorite standards as well as great lesser-known tunes ranging from swing to samba, torch song to blues. Pete Pancrazi

Pete Pancrazi has been named by Downbeat Magazine as "one to watch" and a guitar player "deserving greater attention" - this comes as no surprise to those who have heard him perform. A Yuma native, Pete took up residence as a performer & teacher in the Phoenix area in 1990. Audiences enjoy his nimble, creative guitar work and warm vocals in settings ranging from solo performances at venues in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area to the complexity of his quartet at the Desert Botanical Gardens jazz series. Pete has released four CDs to date and looks forward to his next recording project.
