Yuma Jazz Company Quintet

Yuma Jazz Company Quintet has been performing together about 14 years now, and has garnered critical acclaim in regional and national publications. The group performs straight-ahead, Latin, and progressive jazz, along with tunes from their 4 original music CDs. From heartfelt ballads to up-tempo excitement, the Quintet always ads a sophisticated groove to Julieanna's patio. Steven Hennig - trumpet, Brian Carlson - saxes, Carl Posch - guitar, Jon Knudtson - bass, Brandon Coz - drums

Jason & Elle Jason & Elle is one of the most requested acts each year at the popular Village Jazz Series. Combining soul, r & b, Latin, and jazz into one warm, inviting "sound cocktail", this talented local duo impresses with their instrumental and vocal finesse as well as there expansive personal charm. Jason Arviso - guitar & vocals, Eloisa Arviso - vocals & tenor sax

Pete Pancrazi

Pete Pancrazi has been named by Downbeat Magazine as "one to watch" and a guitar player "deserving greater attention" - this comes as no surprise to those who have heard him perform. A Yuma native, Pete took up residence as a performer & teacher in the Phoenix area in 1990. Audiences enjoy his nimble, creative guitar work and warm vocals in settings ranging from solo performances at venues in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area to the complexity of his quartet at the Desert Botanical Gardens jazz series. Pete has released four CDs to date and looks forward to his next recording project.

Yuma Jazz Company Trio

YJC Trio has an intimate, evocative sound all its own. No frills here, just the essentials of sound, emotion, ballad, and groove. The group plays favorite standards as well as great lesser-known tunes ranging from swing to samba, torch song to blues. Steven Hennig - trumpet & flugelhorn, Carl Posch - guitar, Jon Knudtson - bass
